We at Allgen are devoted to providing our customers with the most competitive and affordable pricing possible. Occasionally, circumstances arise that are beyond our control, and we must make necessary changes to our pricing or policies that reflect these circumstances.
Recent flooding in Thailand, one of the world's major providers of Hard Disk Drives, has impeded the flow of needed components and materials for the production of Hard Drives. For what is projected to be for several months and possibly well into 2012, Hard Drives from major manufacturers such as Western Digital and Seagate will be in short supply. In this world of 'supply and demand', we all know what this means--less supply, and more demand equates to higher prices and limited supply.
There may also be an increase in price on certain drives that are affected by this shortage.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we are hopeful that this crisis will end as quickly as it began.
